printmaker and ceramicist

Hi!

I’m Rachel, the owner and maker behind Cottonwood Stone and Print. I’m a recent art grad and found a deep love of ceramics and printmaking after taking a few random electives (to my luck) my senior year. I’m beyond excited to be diving into my love of these mediums while moving out west!

Besides my titles of printmaker and ceramicist, I’m also a reader, hiker, climber, etc. But mostly, I’ve always been an artist first. <3

My work reflects the colorful and creative spirituality that southwestern landscapes evoke in me, and I hope conveys some of that joy to you, too.

I can’t thank you enough for checking out my website! Always feel welcome to reach out with questions or comments via my contact page.

with gratitude,

product faq’s

  • ceramics are generally not recommended for use in microwaves or dishwashers. All of my products are entirely food safe, but the use of kitchen appliances reduces the longevity of pottery.

  • YES! I love custom orders and making something entirely special. I also try to keep my custom pricing as close to ready-made items as possible — feel welcome to reach out via my “custom” page above.

  • block prints are made on archive-quality BFK Rives 100% cotton woven paper. This paper can be easily matted and framed (more preferably) or can be hung by itself in smaller sizes.

  • my work is sold in person in Abiquiu, NM, at the Abiquiu Dome (more info on my “home” page). I am also attending in person markets closer to Fall 2023! Thank you for your interest in my work. <3
